Ops and AI agents. No noise.

When people talk about artificial intelligence in hospitality, the conversation usually ends with a chatbot that answers frequently asked questions. Exclusive Traveler Club's experience points in another direction: AI agents with defined roles, built into the daily work of a high-performing sales team.
About Exclusive Traveler Club
Exclusive Traveler Club is a luxury Travel Club with more than 90,000 members across its Infinity, Platinum and Gold tiers. Its members enjoy privileged access to hotels in the Caribbean and Europe, and to more than 100,000 properties worldwide through the Beneficios Exclusive platform. Its program has been recognized with Travel Weekly's prestigious Magellan Awards, earning a total of 79 awards across various categories, including the most coveted one: Best Travel Club.
Behind that product is a demanding sales operation: in-person teams that welcome guests at the hotels, present the membership and guide the purchase decision. Training and maintaining a team like that, distributed and growing, is one of the biggest challenges of the model.
A team of agents, with defined goals
On the Iconik platform, Exclusive Traveler Club launched a set of AI agents, each with a specific role, the Club's knowledge base and brand guidelines:
- Lia, sales assistant, supports the sales team: she answers questions about membership tiers and benefits and helps analyze each presentation to better prepare for the next one.
- JMAN, sales coach, provides sales strategy in the moment: presentation methodology, long-term value calculations and objection handling, tailored to the role of each team member.
- Nía, a simulated client, is perhaps the most innovative piece: a realistic character, with her own history, family and objections, whom salespeople practice with by chat, by voice or on a video call with an avatar, as if they were facing a real prospect. There are versions of Nía for each stage of the sales process, so that each role trains on its own scenario.
- Marina, digital travel advisor, is the most recent addition: she assists members and visitors on the Club's website.
Five months of results
Between April and August 2026, Exclusive Traveler Club's agents accumulated:
- More than 2,000 real work conversations, with 410 unique users.
- 7x growth in monthly conversation volume between the first and fourth month.
- More than 250 salespeople practicing with the simulated client.
- More than 18 hours of voice and video roleplay in immersive training sessions.
- Hundreds of business topics automatically detected in the conversations, from handling price objections to comparing membership tiers, which now feed the Club's training decisions.
Training no longer depends on the calendar
The deepest change is in how people train. Before, practicing a difficult close required coordinating with a senior trainer. Today, any salesperson can open a video call with Nía and rehearse a full presentation, with realistic interruptions, doubts and objections, whenever they need to and as many times as they need.
The team also adopted a new habit: the debrief after each presentation. Dozens of salespeople tell the agent how their day went (the couple's profile, the objections that came up, why the sale did or didn't close) and receive an analysis with specific strategy for the next opportunity. In five months, almost 50 of these debriefs were recorded, and the most active users repeat it week after week.
The salespeople themselves sum it up better than any metric:
"Thanks to your advice I made my first sale. I want to keep selling, any advice you can give me to keep selling more and more?" (sales team member, July 2026)
"Thanks, it helped me remember a lot of things." (sales team member, June 2026)
There was even someone who came to the tool skeptical and ended up making the AI debrief part of their routine. And after a successful presentation, one team member proposed that the analysis with the agent become a mandatory part of the process: the best sign of adoption is when the team itself asks for the practice.
What's next
Exclusive Traveler Club keeps expanding the scope of its agents: Marina as a travel advisor on the Club's website, new contact channels and, in the future, agents able to carry out member requests with human supervision at every sensitive step.
The lesson for membership clubs
Exclusive Traveler Club's experience shows that the value of AI in this business is not in replacing human conversation, but in multiplying it and boosting the capacity of teams: better-trained salespeople, sales knowledge available to everyone and full visibility into what happens at every stage of the funnel.
